2008 Mustang Gt500 I bought the Black Halo Headlights from American Muscle, does anyone know if the headlights will fit,they are the same as a regular gt correct? Also I've had a really hard time finding a grill for a GT500 that has holes/inserts in it for the large fog lights(like the ones found on a Gt) Any Ideas?
Ive tried everything, I haven't seen one single pic,add,anything that shows a GT500 with fog lights in the upper grill,I cant be the first person to add the larger lights in the upper grill....
As Preston stated, the headlights don't fit. I'm pissed cause I called Ford and couldn't get a straight answer,all Ford had to say was" the part numbers are diff and We dont know if the lights are actually diff besides the HID". I also bought the smoked corners for the bumper and Ford couldn't tell me if those would fit (if the GT and the Gt500 had the same amber corners).If you cant find out from Ford,who can you find out from?Jeez
the gt500 headlight housing is a completely different shape. Also as far as I can tell 99% of the gt500 community is not interested in appearance modifications, or at least that's what the after market manufacturers think so there is nothing out there besides the brake vent kit for the lower grill.
as for putting gt style headlight on your grill, not sure that would look good but you can probably order a second grill insert, cut the holes and fabricate the mounts yourself.
