High mileage 2010 Mustang GT500 convertible

2010 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500, $48,901 - Cars.com

Link to a car that I see for sale. I think that asking price is way too high for that mileage. What do you think is a reasonable offer? Also how can someone rack up that many miles in such a short time with a car like that? I know its possible but kind of seems like a lot, would you just walk or run from this car?

Beautiful car. Doesn't seem like the milage is too excessive. 2010 model has been out for over 18 months and if it is a DD those miles would be about right. As for the price for a 2010 model without SVT or electronics package - it seems a little high?

I don't believe the 2010 had an SVT package offered and mileage might be considered a little high but if maintained properly should not be a concern. It's not hard to put mileage on these cars as they are such a blast to drive! I really like the strip delete and still might have mine taken off? See how much they will come down with the price?

2010 Shelby GT500. Kona Blue.

...and you believe that..? Yeah, there are some people hurting for money these days, but take what you see on the internet with a grain of salt. The "buyer" of that one never came up with pictures, color or CSM # after I asked... Remember; not everything here is real or true.

Anyway, I also think that $48K for that '10 is a bit high. You can do better.

There is a brand new 2010 convertible at the dealer near me that you could get for that price, if not less. It has been sitting on the lot since the first week the '10's were available. They also have an '11 coupe, red with SVT performance pak that has been in the showroom for 3 months. Sales seem a bit sluggish.

2013 Boss 302, Race Red, TracKey, C&L intake, QTP exhaust cutouts, BMR springs, LCA, Relo brackets, Dynotech aluminum DS. Handsome Bulldog.

It's easy. I have had my '11 SVT Vert for 2 months and odometer turned 10k miles today. I bought it as a daily driver and I'm driving the wheels off it.

2007 GRABBER ORANGE VERT
40TH ANNIVERSARY PACKAGE

2011 BLACK VERT W RED STRIPES
SVTPP AND ELECTRONICS PACKAGE

I'm the guy with the KR that is now gone. Some people don't know what they have, especially idiotic new persons in the used car business. They didn't know what a KR was. They person who bought it from me did and still got a sweet deal.

The price of the car in the OP is asking about is way too high. New ones were selling for much less at the middle of the summer.
