WOW, we all knew that the Shelby GT500 cars were going for an absurd price, but I just discovered that the 1/18 scale GT500 model cars are going for just as absurd prices. I recently bid on a 1/18 scale model of the GT500, and of course I lost. The final price went over $100. That seems high to me when most 1/18 scale model cars sell anywhere from $24.95 to $70 (expensive ones),and this car sold for over $100. If you are shocked at the high price I just quoted, wait till you see the 1/18 scale GT500 model cars that are signed by Shelby...they are going for over $200. I guess there truly is a sucker born every minute.

I am not going to feel sorry for these people in 10 years when none of this stuff is worth any more than the original retial price. Too many collectors whording and protecting too much stuff. The marked will be satureated with these items for sale. Smart move on not competing.

I bought some from californiamustang.com. It was a 2007 grabber orange with tungsten stripes for 50 dollars and they also have the gone in 60 seconds elenor there for the same price and are signed as well.

It was one offered by Ford, it was really nice. It had rubber hoses, seat belts and more detail than a normal one.
