I think one of the issues people have with it is the 0-60. For a car that cost 50k and has 500 hp, you shouldnt have a slower 0-60 then cheaper cars, like the 400 hp Corvette.

i agree. Has some potential but outragious suspension setup. + the over pricing of parts dont help modding them.

All over MSRP.

When I did my internship at autoalliance here, they pumped out 30 or more a day. To be honest, it was more exciting to see a bullitt come down the line than another shelby..

Yes and if your purpose for buying and driving this OUTSTANDING car is simply to drag race, you can fix the suspension for a few hundred bucks...

I am trading in my 05 sonic blue Mustang GT on to an 09 alloy with silver stripes GT500. It will be loaded except for the red interior and NAV and I am getting it at MSRP. There are deal out there and I have seen some go for invoice or just above lately. They are one nice looking car with alot of power. I do still like all the Mustangs and my wife is retaining her 05 mineral gray Mustang GT.

If you wanted to see alot of the GT500's all in one place, there were over 70 of them at the Shelby Fest. It was one awesome site to see.

By the way, anybody want my 05 Mustang GT?
