The GT500 was WAY out of my funding.
The common mans hotrods my ***.
Anyway I dont think I am in that "Class" that would even have a chance to get one even if I could afford it.
That is not the only new car coming. Shelby has... (keep posted), it will be released next week. I can't say as I'm sworn to secrecy by someone from Shelby.
I am sure someone's daddy will buy it for their little prince because he is such a good kid. Yes, he is only 17, but he so smart and mature and he listens to his mother. I want him to have more than I had.
Than there will be a "problem" and the tune will change to "do you think he was too young for that kind of a car?"

Well said Vintage. Couldn't agree more. Daddy will have to explain to little prince what "dealer added market value" means on the sticker....

Funny you say that. A friend of mine sold a Blue GT500 to a guy who had purchased it for his 16 year old son. His first vehicle. Has been driving it for about a month now, went in for his first oil change and doesn't have any damage yet.

wow... that is sooooo lame. i originally was gonna help pay for my car as i have been working and saving since i was 12, but then out of the blue came grandma saying "let me buy him a car" - "okay grandma, if you insist " so ya i guess i can say that i am one of those super lucky kids, but seriously i bet that kid with the freaking GT500 never worked a day in his life and probably doesn't value that car at all...
Back on topic- i really don't understand the point of overpaying that much for a GT500, for that price i would probably want a Z06... and i don't even want to imagine how much the GT500KR will cost looks killer though
