2007 Shelby GT500 Horsepower?

Default 2007 Shelby GT500 Horsepower?
It seems to me that when the GT500 first came out it was rated at 500 horsepower. The 2007 model year is rated at 495 horsepower. What happened?

Ford is still showing it at 500 hp and 480 torque on the website.
