Wow,
These Shelby GT500's do exist! I've never seen one at any dealership here in the Plano, Texas close to me (Middlekauf, Bankston or Troy Airman Ford doen't have one).
Finally......saw a black convertible GT500 a few weeks ago. Man those are nice cars. Can't imagine what the "dealer market adjustment" in price on those are. Even worse...new KR GT500 with only 1000 units! Ebay frenzy for sure.....
To those of you out there that have one of these Shelby GT500 -- nice cars, VERY nice cars.

Yeah the Shelby GT500 is an awesome machine. I've seen a few running around town. Also a couple of Ford GT's here in Edmonton (one of the dealership owners has one parked in his garage at home) including one in the showroom where we bought our Mustangs. For some lame rear crash safety reason the Ford GT's imported into Canada have a hideous rear bumper(+ a selling price of $200,000 Cdn). I've got to go to the dealership tonight to drop the wifes car off for some warranty trim issues and I'll take some pics to show you guys.
The villian in me says, park a shopping cart RIGHT next to the car so from a distance it looks to be run up against it. Then chalk the cart wheels with a couple rocks.
Last week when I drove by Healy Ford here in Edmonton, they had 2 GT-500 coupes in the showroom and a convertible in the back lot plus 2 GT/CS coupes(both in Redfire Clearcoat Metallic -one auto and one manual).
I just got back from putting gas in my car at the same station the GT500 gets his gas and they told me how this guy in a truck behind the GT500 was getting impatient and nudged the GT500's bumper. I guess there was a fair amount of yelling that followed. I don't know if I would have been able to hold back from taking the truck driver apart!
Let me guess... it was probably some rusted hulk of a bombed out crapola rattle trap with a busted windshield that did it. Usually what happens when something gets damaged for some pathetic reason like that. And nothing would've held me back, they may as well call the cops and the EMT's cause someone's next of kin is about to be notified.

It was probably a Dodge. You know the saying "if you can't Dodge it Ram it" and yeah if he'd hit my car he'd be taking an ambulance ride and I'd be in handcuff's on my way to the klink!
