Default 2007 Sheby GT, no IUP, why bother?

I was at my local Ford dealership yesterday and they have two Shebly GTs in stock, one of which was obviously built off of a Mustang GT Deluxe, with no IUP.

I mean why bother? I guess I'm thinking that if you are going to pay $40K+ for a mustang, you should at least have the upgraded gauges. Am I being too picky?

Nope, not at all man.. if im spending over 30 for a car.. it better have all the bells and whistles.. ive seen GT's without the IUP.. i just dont get it.. but to buy a SHELBY which is probably gonna be worth money in the future.. without the IUP.. u gotta b really crazy or just cheap.. but thats just my opinion..

I'd want it all in the shelby as I'd already be paying a huge amount of $$ for a stang. It should have ALL the options.

For a normal GT though. Plenty of people squeek into the GT from the V6 money wise, or they want to build it up from a striped down model. Less money spent on interior frills means more go fast mod money.

Although I personally agree, I like bells and whistles, and for large sums wanted by dealers, yeah, I would want it on a Shelby. Now with that said, soem peopel actually do not like the IUP or My Colr gaurges. So maybe the Shelby's were ordered without and then due to circumstances the buyers did not buy. Or maybe the owner of that dealer is not fond of the IUP or My Color. Just a thought.

Could it have had fake carbon fiber, instead of the brushed silver?

How many gaugesbetween the tach and speedo?

It all depends on your taste. In my case when I bought my blue GT, I felt the interior sport appearance package (ISAP) was a nice touch. When I ordered my mineral grey GT, I thought the IUP would go good with that color. The ISAP had a more sport look as to the IUP which has a more luxury look to it. I do wish Ford would have given us all full instrumentation especially on the GT and Shelby.
