Hi,

I wonder what the 2008 GT500KR horsepower will really be? The claim is 540 HP, but the 2007 GT500 looks like it runs in the low 500's. And the announced Super Snake mods apparantly will get you to 600 and still under warranty.

Seems like if you're going to call something the King, you'd want it to stand out more from the "stock" GT500 and be competitive with the Super Snake.

Then again, all it really means is that you have to buy a new set of tires that much faster. :-)

yeah i agree the snake should be atleast 600/650 hp. maybe 700. if they gonna just make 540hp. alot of us 07gt drvrs make around that. i'm running 535hp s/c. just need more power for that flagship,the vettes i think are gonna be around that in a few yrs and that viper, heck its always getting stronger. then ugot crapmaros comin out in 09 and they gonna be atleast 400hp on the base v8 i think. heck that new z28 may be 450/500hp. we just gotta convince ford to ratchet up the power.
