How much hp can the new gt500 motors hold? Can they hold the same or more than the 03-04 cobras?

I would not push them over 800 with the internal components.

Yes hey can hold more power than the 03 Cobra's. Easier to make larger power with these mainly because they are 5.4 liter motors compared to 4.6. Cubic Inches still help. KB has made like 810 rwhp on the motor with no motor probs. But twisted the driveshaft on the dyno.

Ford says the internals can handle 800hp. The ford GT internals can handle 1000!
