Beats me guys, I thought it was a pretty good unit also.

I'm really starting to think my local dealer is feeding me bs.

I feel like its your dealer, I know my dealer would never treat me like that. It's hard to believe any dealer could be that illogical to think someone could be without their car for that long and not really have a solution. I agree with Stl, regardless of a solution, a call to Ford is warranted. There's no reason dealers shouldnt be prepared for these kinds of senario's.


And while you're on the phone with them. Tell Ford to take a lesson from Chevy and Dodge on the ride height of there sports cars(vette,challenger,camaro) :-P

Doug..did you call SVT? I'm on my 3rd clutch, second tranny and 3rd shifter. Same problems. Mine got to the point where I had to turn off the car just to get it into gear. SVT was wonderful and got the job done when Ford was fighting me all the way.

So I got off the phone with SVT (thanks GT500Girl). They did confirm Ford and SVT are going to have another tranny for the GT500's. It will probably still be a Tremac, just a different model other than the 6060.
The time frame is also correct, late January at best, gotta love that.

My local dealer just called back and they have authorized a rental car thru the beginning of Jan.

The problem kind of stinks but they do seem to be doing their best.

LOL I know I'm hard on it. We shouldn't be having these problems though..so I will have to check on this tranny stuff myself as well cause I haven't heard about the new tranny yet, unless that's what they put in my car this last go around.

Well crap. I'm glad they are going to hook you up with a rental..but they should do it until they get your tranny.

I doubt that the new one went in, part of this story seems to be that they are still coming up with an answer or are in the process of solving the problem.

Wait about a month or so to break it again, then you'll get a good one.

They should just go to Richmon and have them build a 6 for that kind of HP and TQ.

Yeh..they should go somewhere else..I agree. I'm getting tired of getting new tranny's and clutches.
