was looking at some on ebay and i have seen a couple in person and was wondering if you can order a GT-500 with navigation? because all the ones i have seen had a 6-CD changer

Yes a touchscreen DVD-based nav system is available as an option.

The Shaker 500 audio system with 6-disc in-dash CD changer is standard in the GT500. In-dash DVD-based navigation is a $1995 option and is mounted in place of the Shaker 500, but retains the 6-disc changer and other Shaker 500 features.

The Shaker 1000 audio system is a $1295 option in the GT500 but cannot be ordered with navigation. You can specify the $1995 navigation option or the $1295 Shaker 1000 option (or neither), but not both.

Yeh..I have a Pioneer D3 I think it is..touch screen with navi, bluetooth etc. The only problem is it's only 1 not a 6 changer...but I love it. As far as ordering it though I don't know..it's probably cheaper to get it after like I did and have it installed.

I have always wanted to have a navigation touch screen in my car. But since my car is a vert, i always worry about someone trying to get into my car by slicing the top just to grab the navigation system . So i have a little portable unit that i can keep hidden

Yup, my 2008 GT 500 has the Shaker 500 sound system with Nav, it is identical to the one in my 2007 Expedition. Difference is that the Expedition has voice activation where the GT 500 does not.

I have experienced the ...holes that do things like that. My 90 vert was sliced into twice to steal an aftermarket stereo, one of which didn't even have the control head as I removed it at night. I quit locking the car after the second one as it was way more expensive to replace the top than a stereo. I researched some motion alarm systems and really wanted to install some type of electrocution system, but I had to sell it this past year.

I didnt have a vert, but christmas morining a couple years back, I awoke to the stereo stolen out of my car... that was a great christmas surprise!!!
