The Holley and Cobra valvecovers you've seen on Cobra IIs are both aftermarket pieces, not factory options.

You can buy the Cobra valvecovers from anyone that carries Ford Racing parts, Holley valvecovers can be ordered from any parts store. The stock valvecovers on all V8 Mustang IIs were stamped steel with the Ford oval stamped into them and simply painted Ford blue.
