That right all, in less than 4 hours I will be trading 2700 dollars for a 1978 Mustang Cobra II with a 2.3. I will post pictures as soon as possible and will be open to suggestions of what it needs. I hope to learn more about vehicles now that i'm going to own one.

It has manual steering, time for some arm muscles. It came with rear window louvers and side window louvers. Needs some paint work, and I plan to add a few goodies to the engine. I'll have it nice enough to take it to shows by summer.

Looks nice! It looks pretty original. How many miles? Hey, I always thought the Cobra II came with 302 V8.
You could get any of the three engines in the 74-78 Mach 1 or the 76-78 Cobra, only the King Cobra had the 302 as it's standard engine choice, and only the Mach 1 had the V6 as it's standard (though the 4 cylinder was an option on the Mach for all 5 years and the V8 from 1975 up I believe). All other IIs had the 2.3 as the base engine (was the only option in the Mustang II MPG) with the 2.8L V6 and 302 V8 as options.
