I Just Bougt My Cobra Ii Yesterday, The Rumble Or The 302 The Curvey Yet Boxt Shape.
It Is A Retired Police Vehicle Does It Have An Interceptor?
How Do I Tell.
And Where Can I Get A Cheap Front Spoiler

Look on the engine block and locate the serial number and post it on here and we'll be able to tell you which motor you have. Check Ebay for the front spoiler.

where is the easist place to get parts for a mustang II/cobra II
i need the spoiler, radiator, radiator reserve tank, oil pan and, headliner
i s there a website for us??????
today i went to a late model mustang shop and they dont have jack s.hit. i need assistance from people who know where shi.t is

Post pics of it I love me some Mustang II's and I wouldnt think you have an interceptor motor. Most likley a regualr 302

In all my information, I have never heard of a police vehicle having used the mustang frame. I have heard of rare 150 mile speedos in the police cars from ford that can be exchanged in. That would be the test....

Probably you have a stock mustang II there should be a tag on the front of the car near the radiator that will be stamped CB if it is an original cobra model. I have 2 cobra IIs and just bought a 2003 convertable mustang. Great cars if you can find a good one.

On that subject... from experience, you do not want to go over 120 in these mustang IIs. They get awful light on the front end, even with the V8, and you just get too much air under the front of the car.

I believe the LTDs and Torinos were the model of choice for police vehicles of the mid 70s, before the crown vic's came along.

Unless it came from a Barney Fife police dept. Never heard of 1. they didn`t even use Mustangs til the 80-90s.....Just good to have one in fair shape.....
