It's up there allright, it won't be long before those leaf springs start sagging in the opposite direction. Having owned a few hot cars during the 60's and early 70's I can tell you this was the cheap way of getting clearance for some big meat to fit in the wheelwells, unfortunately not very safe on the streets and definately bad in corners. Although you will gain clearance and help weight transfer from a dead stop it will also upset the front end geometry and eventually screw up the driveshaft, univerals and pinion. Yea its old school cheap looking. |
