Greetings all, i am looking for the best step-by-step literature out there for this project. this was my first car i ever bought, i was 17 at the time, am 43 now (wow). Any direction/advice for starting my journy on this stang of mine would be greatly appreciated.

If you post some pics of your car, the members of this forum can get a better idea of the condition of the car. Each type of car is different and unique in regards to rust. Their are restoration books out there, but they tend to be very generic. The good news is you can make 300 RWHP out of a 302 these days without breaking the bank. Back in '78, your stock 302 Mustang II would have been lucky to muster 100 RWHP!
