Did you change the module out from the V6 version to the V8?

Makes a difference with Duraspark.

Default wiring harness

is there a difference to the v6 to the v8 harness the connectors all connect there are two wires that i dont know where they go, they are connected to the coil harness one is like a slide connector that looks like the one that goes from the ignition to the starter relay that has pulsing power and the other is a clip that has 12v.

Yeah, the engine bay harnesses are slightly different, but I would think you would be able to modify the V6 one to work.

I got away with a four-cylinder harness on a V8 Mustang II, had to extend a couple of wires, but it worked.
