Cool Mustang II Stallion

hi, i have a chance to buy a weird type of mustang II i havent seen...It is a Mustang II Stallion... i have never seen a stallion. I was just wondering if it was accually an option or did someone just put some stickers on it.

It is also tan hatchbak with a 302 4-speed and has A/C
The guy only wants 300 for it, it runs, drives fine, and has only slight surface rust, paint is faded kinda bad.

Thanx.

It was a factory option, I don't know much about it other than it consisted of some paint treatments (black out) and stallion decals.

I saw one at Carlisle once. I think it was a looks package to boost slumping sales.

The stallion was nothing special all it was was just some stickers and a little luxury stuff. They are rare but not really worth too much but if it were me I'd buy it just cause of the price it sounds like a good deal.

The top of the line Stallion came in silver with II tone paint and black accents, red interior and badging. Unfortunately most came in mono tone with just black accent trim. This one would be worth quite a bit if still in existance and had original paint scheme. The cream one not so much.

The Stallion Package was an option on Mustang IIs, Pintos, and Mavericks in the mid-70s. It was little more than an appearance package, but it did give them a cool look.
