Default parts shoppin, damn not again!

does anybody know where i can get a radiator for my 78 cobra II with a 302 ( im in a budget crunch right now) so i need the cheapest possible to the best quality ratio, i found one at auto zone i think its brass for 299. what do you think??????

Not bad and that one will have a warranty, i would chk around the other parts stores and also chk Car-Part.com--Used Auto Parts Market they have junkyard listed parts and ya might find one thats decent, or take urs to a radiator shop and see what they might charge to repair urs, sometimes cheaper.

what if i wanted to drop a manual trans could i put a foxbody t5 trans in the car? it has a 302.

you can, reg on mustangII.net and there is a tech area there to help ya with that... also there are a few guys that done it already

I went down to the local hotrod shop and bought a 4 core aluminun for $150. It was 2inches wider and 1in taller. I bought a set of there radiator mounts for $11.95. It fit without a problem and still have almost 2 inches of hood clearance.
