well i'm looking at parts from paddock performance and they stock alot of parts for 70-73, and from 79 but they skip 77, i'm mainly looking for reproduction seats and a gas tank which they have for a 73 for a good price, so i was wondering if those parts would fit my 77

No one makes a repo gas tank for the II, have to fine a good use one. I have seen a couple of places on the net that will repair/rebuild your original tank (have them bookmarked at home if you would them). Not sure about the seats but if they do physically fit you will have to use you seat tracks from the II.

You can use Fox body seats as long as u use ur seat tracks, and for parts like a tank chk with Car-Part.com--Used Auto Parts Market or even on Mustang II Network - 1974 - 1978 Ford Mustang II someone there might have one. but for 74 parts on later... the 74 fender will go on a later but not vice versa without modding the headlight recesss on the later model to fit the 74 nose... and the hoos is 74 only as well as the header panel (nose)

All parts for all of the Mustang II's are interchangable except for the radiator cradle or housing on the 74 and the drivers side quarter panel. The quarter panel will fit but you will have to change the neck on you fuel take to fit the new opening. A guy in Georgia name Smitz has the fuel tanking for about $120. You can find his info on MustangII.org and MustangII.net
