1976 German Mustang II Ghia

Just ran across a German 2.2 Mustang Ghia in the local u-pull-it yard. It is an almost complete car. It looks pretty sharp but reminds me of the old 280Z.

It's a 1976. Know body damage, all the glass is there. Full interior with radiator and gas tank. The engine just seized up. No about taking it home. The wife want let me have any more cars.

****, I'd get rid of one of the projects and fix that up to spec. Not likely many II's from Germany made it over here. Could be worth something to a collector. Would be a good show car.

$200 for the front half and $200 for the rear because they don't have a title. But if I can get the title they will sell me the whole thing. I live in a town where 75% in retired military. They have cars that you wouldn't believe. Its almost like a car show every warm weekend up here.

Thank you 74stang2go.I am glad that you pointed out how worthless a thread is without a picture, because I just went through almost all of the 163 threads that you post and guess what. No pictures. Lol that was a good one but how can you tell if it is German I can't find any pics on the web on German Mustang II cars I want to see one. Anybody know of any sites?

Everyone is soooo Harsh.... i think it would be cool to see a pic of one, i havent seen one either and i lived in germany for 11.5 yrs....

It has been icy up here for the last couple of days. They want let anyone go into the yard because of insurance reasons. Suppose to be in the 40's next week so the yard should be open.
