I bought the car with the added gauges already in, I don't know what exactly they are hooked up to or if they can be hooked up to something, theirs also four buttons on the left side that don't look original or serve a purpose

The two gauges that where added are oil and fuel economy, it going to be tough project currently i have the 302 engine out of it waiting for a rebuild, and once the snow is gone i'll start the body work, the interior is in good condition and i have some good leads on some original seats but am unsure of the pattern they used on them for the fastback. I don't know how many of the cobra II's there are in Canada . I live in Winnipeg Manitoba and this is the first I've seen.

Since there are only 12000 known registered II's in the states I can bet there are many less in Canada. I know only of one other and it's in Toronto.

Ya there's plenty of salt on these roads unfortunately, I've heard someone say they saw one mustang II in Winnipeg but other than that mines the only one I've seen I'll have to wait till summer and check out the car shows.

There are many mustang IIs still around in Canada, here on the West Coast I own 6 different IIs and have friends that have IIs also.
My wife owns a Yellow 1978 King Cobra, and I own a 77 Ghia, a 78 Rallye, a 1978 Aqua Ghia, a 1978 T-top Coupe (I believe its the only one), a 1978 Cobra and a 74 Coupe, a 77 cobra parts car. All are v8 cars except the 74 coupe. FORGOTTEN PONY - TONY'S CORALL - FORD MUSTANGS 1974-1978

There are LOTS of Cobra II's up here in Canada. You just need to look for them.

Like Tony (T-top Coupe II) posted, the west coast has them in spades...

I have a 77 in the garage and a black on black T-top King Cobra in the driveway, and I personally know the owners of over half a dozen others just in southwestern BC. I still occasionally spot one that I don't know the owner of, but I try to make contact whenever I can.
