Default got stuck in the snow and several things go wrong

well i live in MO where all the snow and ice hit and of course it was when i have to goto work. so i tried with my II and got it stuck, well it was just to much for the 6.25' rear end. It started chattering really bad, so i was fine with that I have a junkyard about 45 mins from springfield with 4 II's in it Sadly on the way back from the junkyard, after finding an 8' in a II my engine started rattling REALLY bad and when we came to a stop my engine sounded like a pop corn maker. Not been a good week, so she has now moved from DD to project car but it does give me a good excuse to do something with it. BTW if anyone is interested and near the Springfield MO area I can give ya the name and directions to this place. There are (i think ) three fast backs and one coupe the coupe has a 3.55 8'. and they have all the bodies there just shoot me a PM

Hate to hear you II bit the dust but at least you have access to parts cars for you needs. Started my project on my 76 Cobra II and finding parts in a junkyard around where I live is non existence. Good luck with you project.

Sorry to hear about your car. At least she got you home. I'm sure you'll get her back on her feet soon.

Sorry for your troubles.

Sounds like you are on the right track with a good differential, though one of my cars did that merely with a bad rear Universal joint.

Also, try the tune up or analysis route before you pronounce your engine dead?

Good luck.
