the carb is not working, i tried to start the car one day, and no start. i opened up the carb and the gasoline inside the float chamber was dirty, so i cleaned it out and i sprayed it with carb cleaner, now all the gas is fresh and clean. i go to start the car and only starts for 3-5 seconds before dieing. when i pour gas down the barrels and try to start it it starts for 10 seconds. any advice ? thanks

Sounds like trash got into the carb.I suggest to take it apart,clean it well and install a rebuild kit.And do not forget a new filter.

Is your fuel pump working properly? Did you check to make sure your springs are working properly?

i just did a rebuild, the gasoline in the manifiold is dirty so im letting it dry up. well see tommorow,
