I have not put my T-5 in yet and when I do it is going to be with a MII bell. There was some talk on the other boards about guys having to go back to exhaust manifolds when using the t-5 bell./paul

don't want to bust your bubble but....unless you do some modifying on the tranny tunnel the you can't fit a non II bell housing in it you also will need to modify to shifter hole by a 1.5 or 2 inches (can't remember). Happy building

I got the motor and tranny in the car. I had a C4 in the old one with long tube headers.. I beat the tunnel up a little to get it in but not much.. i tried to put the long tubes on but one hit the clutch fork and the other sat against the bellhousing.. so i put ranchero manifolds in it just to go for a rip.. i ordered some shorties and the one faces rite at the steering shaft. i dont know i'll have to do some fabing i guess.. let you guys know how it goes.. or i could just get a II bellhousing if i can find one...

Goto mustangII.net you should be able to find a bell housing for a II there. I would go with the housing for a II (of course you will also need a clutch assembly and a fly wheel for a II they are smaller). It would save a whole lot of headaches:-p
