Default Looking for New Radiator

Anyone know where you can purchase a brand new radiator for a 78 Mustang II no air with a 302? Thanks

They pop-up on eBay periodically. The other alternative is to have an original rad re-cored...

Ebay does have them for almost $500.00. Take your to a good reliable radiator shop and have them fix yours. Personally I went to the local hot rod shop and bought a 3 core aluminum one for $158.00 plus tax. Same height but 1 inche wider. Still fit fine.

I just bought a Summit Racing 22x19" universal for mine. I'll be fabricating mounts to make it fit within the next week or so...

I'll let you know how it works out.

Was the hot rod shop just a local shop or was it like a Jegs? Wonder if that shop would sell me one and ship it to me? THanks Linda

The one I ordered is with the built-in tranny cooler since my car's an automatic, that alone is going to add a degree of difficulty.

I eyeballed things tonight after getting home with it (I drive it almost daily now, my Dodge just seems too... "tame" these days) it's looking like the universal bracket kit I ordered with it will work nicely at the top, but I'll have to actually pull the old one out to see what I've got to work with at the bottom.

I'm thinking for the short-term of running hoses from the current lines to barbed fittings in the cooler since I'm going to an electric fan at the same time... and fabricating new lines when I do the upcoming engine swap either early next year or (if I'm lucky) later this year.

Summit Racing sells direct replacement aluminum radiators by Be Cool for the Mustang II with an automatic transmission.
