Exclamation 4th gen camaro seats!!!!

Well I am at it again last time I fit Jeep Wrangler seats into my mustangs (fronts only). Well today I was helping my older brother tear down his Camaro till he got tired of it and decided to scrap it. I sat there and eye balled all the seats, front and back, till I said what the heck lets see if they fit. THEY WILL WORK!!!! Yes there are some modifications and I know it is a little bit of an irony but they look good and they are fully adjustable. I like doing things a little bit out of the ordinary (hate doing whats already been done), so it is a little wierd but they are a dime a dozen in the junk yards and a bonus is they are cloth. The cloth is my prefered because I have kids. It is getting dark out side but in the morning I will take pictures and show how I did it. It is not much modifications for the front seats but the back takes a little more but for a COMPLETE set of seats I just can't beat it

Yes it is wrong!! But then again if the mustang community and the parts manufactures gave us half the parts every other mustang gets he would not have too.

All right, I have got them in. Well I can't get the pictures to post, it is very irritating. The front seats do require either a hole drilled on each side for the seat rails or do like I did and tack weld them into place. If you do weld the seat rails make sure you cover everything BEFORE you take them for safety sake. If I had a picture you could see that to line them up all you have to do is line up the the holes in the seat rails in line with the ones on the seats. After that it just bolts right up.

The rear seats are a little trickier. First you need to remove the latches and the shoulder belt holders. After that just use some sheet metal and make the hangers for the back of the seat. The measurements are almost exact so it should fit nicely. The two buckets will require a custom bracket for them. It is not too hard as long as you are creative. You can use wood and build it that way but I prefer metal. Either way should be good especially compared to how they are bolted up to start with. But all in all, there is not to much to it. (note : this was done to a Coupe not a hatch AND the seats came out of a 1994 camaro non electric)

Well this is what I did, I did notice that it increased the amount of leg room in the back and they have adjustable recline (which is nice) I hope this helps some and it looks pretty good I will try later to post pictures of it.
