The title to my '74 states 2800 lbs. But I know the DMV in Texas has mis-printed weights before, they list my '75 Chevy pickup as 6100 lbs, but I've had her weighed on a CAT-certified truck scale, and she weighs in at 4900.
also, a 1974 2.3/4-spd/7.5"rear/notchback car without A/C, heat, or radio and without power steering or power brakes is going to be the lightest.
