Thumbs up

Just having a look around this site. This family is kind of into the Mustang II. I have a 1977 Mach1, 302, 4-speed, T-Tops. Just got "Collector Plates" on it a couple of weeks ago. It still needs work, like fresh paint, other than that it is all original including the AM/8 Track. My son Matt has a 1977 Cobra II, 302 (not stock), 5-speed (not stock). We also have a 1978 2+2, 2.8L V6, 4-speed, T-Tops. This one we will modify, but not sure how much or what we will do, either a V-8 or thinking about a Turbo 4.
Looking forward to having a look around this site.

John

Hey John, nice pic of your car. It appears to be in very good shape. I see you are a fellow canuck, right on! Is your car originally from B.C.?
I have seen a few cars pass through here(Ontario) and always drooll because they are in such great shape. If it were a car from Ontario it would be in the heap pile by now.
Thanks for jumping on board and if you can, recruite some friends and have fun.
If you have any more pictures of your cars, like Scott said, put them into the members gallery for all of us to see
Cheers

Yes, the Mach1 is an original BC car. I bought it off the original owner a few years ago. The car sat for a few years before I got it. Everthing is stll original on it. I do want to get the car painted, the paint has gone a bit dull in a few spots. I also need to change the t-top weather stripping and felts.
This is a fun little car to drive. There are quite a few Mustang II's still used as daily drivers in the Vancouver area. There is even more showing up at Mustang shows. I think that last year at the Pacific Northwest Round-up in Bellvue, WA there was over 12 Mustang II's and growing every year.

That is great to hear that someone is keeping the stepchild running. We hardly ever get to see many of the MustangII's down here. There was a King Cobra at the show I went to on Sunday, however, it really needed a good restore job. All most people do is just point and laugh when someone brings a Mustang II to a show.

Hey Ron I'm one guy who did'nt laugh. I thought it was pretty cool! There was also a pretty good selection of Mustang II's at the knott's Berry show this year but they are getting harder and harder to find. John, its nice to see your Mustang II is in such great shape!

John,

That is a nice Mustang II.

My sister had a light yellow coupe with a 302 when I was in high school. She hated when I got a hold of it. She had to go get new rear tires when I was done

Scott! makes me want to look at the Mach I I saw the other day. I think I'll check it out on the way home
