Hey all.

I just bought a '77 Ghia, mechanically it only needs a starter but lots of body work is needed and there was water on the floor under neath the pedals. It's an automatic 4 banger, cost me $500.

Was it worth it?

Worth it if you can put it back together without spending a ton of money.
Mustang IIs are gaining some value as more and more people are buying them. Dont know the prices you will have to reseach that through sites such as eBay or with other II owners.

$500 is not a lot of money, the problem araises when you invest more money into the car compared to what it is really worth. The same applies to any other car, its hard to recover the invesment when you want to sell it.

I've been there many times, you can pour the same ammount of money and time into a Porsche or Mustang II, but the Porsche is definately a car people would buy, not so with the Mustang II.

So its all up to you, mostly.
