Hello, new girl here!

Hello everyone, My name is Megan. I'm 17 from oklahoma. I have a 74 mustang II. I've had it since last may, so almost a year. It has a swapped 79 5.0 engine and a t-5 transmission with a hurst short throw. The engine is stock but it has been rebuilt, it made 140 hp @3600 rpms and 240 torque at 240 rpm's. I'm in a bad need of headers and a different cam. Those are my first planned mods. Heres a pic of my II

Very nice! I really like the look of a white II.

Are you positive it's a '74, my eyesight might be failing but it appears you have the '75 up grill/header panel (the '74's have a smaller grill). The way to tell for sure is your VIN, should start with a "4". I have seen a lot of cars registered based on the manufacture date on the door tag, you MAY have an early '75 car made in '74

Yes, yes, I have been through this before. In order to fit a 5.0 into a 74 you apparently have to change out the front clip and the grille. My car has a 77?-78 grille. My vin does have the 4 in it. It is a 74 car. Also the quarter panal was changed out so the gas cap is above not below the body line, that too has also came up.

Very nicely done! Are the windows tinted? The contrast with the white looks sharp. I had tinted glass on mine for a few years but kept getting tickets (there was one cop that just didn't seem to tolerate it here..drove me nuts trying to fight it so I finally gave up and removed it)

Nice to see a '74 in such great shape, I never seem to see any other IIs around here except '77s and '78s.

Yes the windows are very dark, a little too dark in my opinion. But the guy who owned the car before tinted them, and I think it looks good so I'm keeping it like that. Although they are hard to see out of at night.
