need an engine!

i just bought a 77 mustang II hatchback not too long ago that has a running 302 in it, but i decided within the past couple of days im gunna restore the car as close to original as possible. it had a 6 cyl. originally and thats what im looking for to put back in it. if anyone has a running 6 cyl. it would be greatly appreciated.

I have a 2.8 from a 77 coupe with 85K miles on it. It ran great with very little valve noise. The carb needs a rebuild. Looking for $200. The only problem is I'm located in Pa. and don't want to crate the motor to ship.

I am getting a 76 that has the original V6 in it. BUUUUUT I think the head gasket needs replaced, and I think the rings need to be replaced. I am not a wiz with engines, so worst case scenario it needs rebuilt. It is my brothers car, and I want to build it up and put a 302 in it. Interested at all??
