 buying a 78 mustang II
OK fella's not knowing prices of the 74/78 mustangs I found a really clean 78, performance 302/4 speed. body and interior are virtually mint. The owner says that the rear end is out of a 78 cobra I believe. He's advertising for 5600 or best offer, car is non optioned, no power steering/ac/windows, no nothing. color is like a medium gold with black accent on the bottom half, wheels are 13'' rims look factory to me. Im not familiar with these cars and would like some input on it if there is any to give, what to look for and what not's. Im not predudice against Chevy/Ford/Dodge/Chrysler, matter fact Iown a 84z 28h.o. mint restored ands I love the mustangs, always liked the 74/78 models, I think they deserve a bit more credit than what theyve gotten. I'd really like to buy this car, has alot of horsepower and is exceptionally clean and stock looking with exception of the engine. |
