I was woundering how could find out how much my mustang is worth. It is a 1978 Ford Mustang V8 302 It basicly needs paint, minor body, minor uphostery.

On a car that old that is "off the books", the price is wahtever the market will pay. You could look at Mustang trader magazines, local classifieds, look online for "mustang II" and get an idea what others are selling theirs for. Don't expect a goldmine, you have the least popular of all mustangs ever produced. Most "mustang guys" wish the II had never been built despite its high sales when it was built.
