That's kinda what my 78 has been doing for over a decade now. I'm hoping that the Cobra II will not only be a running project (driven regularly come spring) but that it will help spur me into actually doing something with my 78. And since most of what the two cars need is different, whatever I can scrounge up for donor cars can help with BOTH projects
Went to the local Ford-only boneyard and re-aquainted myself with the guys there (but they all remembered me anyway...its nice to be memorable), but came up with a bit of a mix.
They crunched a 78 T-top on Friday
The gastank and dashpad had already been sold, though
They still had the roof panels
The driver's side one has lost the glue on the seal, but its complete and untorn
The pass. side is in PERFECT condition

They delivered them to my house for $50 Cdn, so now I have a spare set, and I can keep them in the storage bag for the ones that are already on the car
