Default Mustang II beats two other stangs at Barrett-Jackson!!!

Barrett-Jackson - The World's Greatest Collector Car Events

I couldn't believe it myself... but a 1976 Mustang II has so far beaten a 1984 Mustang Convertible and a 1965 Mustang Coupe on the auction block at Barrett-Jackson... as well as a 1963 Ford Pickup...

A great day for IIs? or a weird anomoly??? If it's merely and anomoly, then it's been happenging with increasing frequency, IIs are beating other Mustangs in car shows and auctions more and more often these days...

Well it did have only 4600 miles and was all original. That makes it pretty special, lets be honest. Not bashing the II owners. I loved my 78 Mustang II. Black on black pleather, 4 speed..thought that car was awesome. I bought it used with 78,000 on the clock in 1984..6 years old for $500. Man you can't do that kind of stuff inhigh school anymore. Thanks for the memories 74stang2togo!!

That's great maybe they will start treating us like we are part of the mustang family and not adopted Yugo. How much did it sell for?

Well, if you'd quit bidding on it!
