Question 1993 5.0 Mustang Motor. Fit 1978 Mustang II?

I'm selling my 5.0 motor from my 1993 GT Mustang.
The person interested in it has a 1978 Mustang II.
Will my motor fit?
Thanks

It should fit. If I remember right, the '78 did come with a V8 option so it should go in. It might depend on the induction system they're going to use. If they go with the '93 EFI, I don't know. A carb should fit as long as they don't go with a high rise intake and tall air cleaner.

You'll have to change the oil pan and oil pump pickup out for either the Mustang II specific unit (if using a Mustang II bellhousing on your trannsmission) or a standard Ford oil pan and pickup.
