I have my car at the shop right now and there in search for this part "take a look at the photos below"
not sure what this part is called nor what the part number is?

whats happening is there is weird spots in the turning of the wheels they say its caused by the knuckle binding.
if there is anyone out there that could give the exact name of this part that would be great... we have been searching for this part now for 6 days with no success at all. I'm getting very unhappy.

its a 1978 ford mustang || coupe.

I'm in London Ontario Canada
also if there is anyway to fix this part at all.
there used to be a 6 cylinder in the car and was changed to a 302 5 speed, I'm not sure if this was the reason for the binding.
the steering is manual steering.

stearing colum lower shaft, but i bet the rack/ stearing gear is bad. bigG

I don't know if theres a auto zone in Canada, but I just bought the rebuild kit for the steering linkage for right at $8.00. My steering got loose and sloppy but it did not bind.
