I didn't realize there was an actual method to follow. Like I said, I just plugged everything. I'm not very familiar with the V6, but I'll tell you what I can to get you started.
Picture 1: If your friend wants the warm air intake reroute that line to the carburetor, If not, cap both ends. Pull off the blue piece in the air filter that the hoses were connected to leaving a hole. Get a couple body plugs and plug the holes on the bottom half in the picture. The top spot I believe is attached to the PCV elbow on the oil cap. There may be hoses underneath the air filter housing. remove and cap them.
Picture 2: Remove the vacuum canister and the air pump (not shown in picture). The bottom hose should follow to the carburetor. This is where you would attach the warm air intake vacuum line line to if you want to keep it. If not, cap all lines to the carburetor except the PCV valve (not to be confused with the PCV elbow possible on the oil cap).
Picture 3:I believe (don't quote me) the thick line coming off the top goes to the brake booster for power brakes. Do not remove it unless you don't have power brakes. Cap the open line with a plug. I'm not sure where the other line goes to but I believe it goes to the bottom part of the vacuum canister.cap both ends if so.
Picture 4: Left to right: Cap off both open parts, The center one most likely goes to the air pump. Remove if so. Next part is a sensor. The silver disc in the lower right of the picture is the EGR valve. Remove it and cover the hole with a plate to block airflow. (see attachment) Plug anything on the manifolds that isn't a sensor.
If you need me to clarify anything, just ask. The pictures I'm commenting on are the ones you posted.
