Default New Kid to mustangs 1978 Mustang Needs New Floors?

Well i just picked up my '78 mustang that needs floors. Only problem is that i cant find anywhere where they sell floor pans. Anyone know where i can get some? And has anyone ever turbo'd the 2.3?

Check out mustangsunlimited.com I know they have the floor pans for '79 or if you just wanted to call them 1-888-398-9898 to the Connecticut or 1-888-229-2929 for the Georgia store....hope this helps you out... :-)

No, the '79s are fox-chassis Mustang floors and won't fit.

Floors for a Mustang II may be a bit of a challenge, you might try the MustangIIMadman on Ebay (you can get in touch with him via Ebay if you have an account) or on MustangII.net (I believe his ID there is MustangIIMadness) he parts out unsavable cars regularly and may have or know where to get a floorpan...

as far as the turbo 2.3... look in the 2.3L Tech section, there is a nice writeup right at the top of the section as a sticky on what is involved...

1976 Ford Mustang II Ghia: 302 with a 600cfm Edelbrock carb, Edelbrock Performer 289 intake, Dynomax Blackjack headers, 2.5" exhaust with Flowmaster Super 44s. RJS 11-gallon fuel cell, C4 tranny, chrome 16" pony wheels, fuzzy dice, brown vinyl half-top, and painted in the tackiest color ever (harvest gold, that's why I call it "The Goldenrod").

Also have a 2003 Dodge Ram (lightly modded daily driver/tow rig/office/dining room/home away from home/workshop... I call it "The Big Blue Dawg".)
