Hello all.
Recently I inhereted a 78' from my mother, which she bought brand new back in the day. this car had a 4 cylinder pinto engine put into it because she didn't think she could handle the V8 or V6. I've decided it would be a good idea to rebuild it. The problem I've been running into is the fact that i cannot find parts anywhere. it almost seems that i would need to buy a whole new car. the parts that i am looking for are:
1. All new corners. all of the brakes need to be replaced.
2. a rear right corner panel, the current one looks ok but is full of bondo.
3. any information on swappable engines. a close friend told me that a 5.0 out of a expedition would work for a swap. i'm interested in making this car run, not look original under the hood.
4. if i put in a new engine, ill need a new rear end, so any info on that would be great also.
5. the louvers on the windows need to be replaced, they're cracked and destroyed, and one is totally missing.
ANY info on places to get parts is appreciated.
