I have a 76 mustang with a new 302... Im fixin to pull it back out an do some more stuff like cam. bearings rings roller rockers... an prob. port the heads....And im goin to put a stall in it.. Its a c4 auto.. I had a shift kit put in it an rebuilt....Would a 2500 or a 3000 stall be better ????? Im goin to put a line locker on the car soon..

The stall speed depends on a lot of variables like compression, head flow, intake flow, tire size, vehicle weight, intended use of the car, and most of all the cam. I'd suggest get all that info down and then call the converter manufacturer you're going to buy from and get a recommendation. Correct converter stall speed isn't so simple to figure out.
