Default What is my 1975 Mustang Mach I worth?

Greetings,

Can anyone tell me what this car is worth? 1975 Mustang II Mach I package. 302V8,auto trans. Engine runs as good as it ever did;suspension, steering, brakes, tires all new, body/interior needs work. It is drivable and is driven every day. Also, if you can tell me. Please explain how you got the value, I've been looking around and haven't found anything except this forum :o)

If you would post some photos of the car, showing the exterior, interior and engine compartment it would make reaching a possible value much easier. A picture or 10 is worth a 1000 words.

I used to have one....a LOADED 1975 Fastback Mach 1, silver, trimmed in black; with 302; stock dual exhaust, leather interior, little 4 barrel carb, ET mag wheels around it, with G-60's on the back...
It was stolen in 1981.....I have always missed that car.

The nice ones are pulling a couple grand off Ebay. However, if you find the right buyer in the right market you could do better than that. Check the NADA website (N.A.D.A. Official Used Car Guide Company) for fair retail prices for those cars. You'll never get that price for it, but it gives you a comparison anyway.

$2812 - $9300 is the range from the May/Aug 2007 NADA book from page 255. I have 2 cars(76/78) and would not part with mine at that price. Quality and condition is everything. If it is original or nicely restored... You may find a surprise someday. Ask Mustang Phil S what the parts are worth if you doubt that... I think he would agree its worth a lot more than what ebay prices would lead one to believe. The downside to trying to fix up one of these cars is the lack of availability of parts if yout want to do it right. But good things come to those who wait. Allan Klingler
