Default 1975 Mustang Engine

Im looking to replace the one i have with a bigger one. Im kinda new with cars so i have no idea what I have, i just want to know how big of an engine i can get. Also around how much will it cost me?

The largest engine they made for the II's is the 302 V8, but of course you can build lots of HP into a 302. Cost depends on what you want and where you get it.

You can squeeze pretty much any Ford engine in there but the 302 is the largest stock engine.
Otoh, you can get close to 800hp from a N/A 302...

There really is no limit on how expensive you can make it. Cheap is always more difficult.

302 sounds pretty cool, but that will probably put me back pretty far. But Im starting to save up so i can do things like that to it.
