Hi I want to do a turbo swap to my 1975 ghia which has a stock 2.3 in it and I don't know where to begin. Need to know what parts to get and what I would have to modify to the car.
If anyone knows how to make a quick naturally aspirated or nitrous 2.3 I would like to hear that too if the swap would be too difficult.I would like to get into the high 13s if thats possible with a 2.3. I don't mess with the four cylinders but I've had this car since I was 15 and I love it and don't want it to be slow anymore.
Buy a Turbocoupe and swap everything over to the Mustang. Then there's a plethora of high performance parts for these. Big turbo's, injectors etc. The motor is the same as your 2.3 on the outside and has the same mounts. It's a factory high performance turbocharged version of our engine. Trans mounts will have to be modified with either T-5 or auto that comes with the turbocoupe.
