Hood Ornament Install Question

I have found a hood ornament in good condition:

and now i want to install it on my II, can you tell me the distance from te front of the hood i must put it.

Unfortunately I had one on my 2+2 when I bought it, now the hole is used for my center stud on my cowl scoop.

The hole is centered 2" from the front of the hood.
