Default 1978 Grill mounted fog lights change?

I am wondering if it is possible to change the square grill mounted foglights on a 78 mustang II coupe. And i don't mean just new square ones, personally, I don't really like them, I much rather prefer the circle ones from the 67-69 mustang. Is there any posisble way to use circular lights and put them onto the 78 mustang's grill like the square ones? If this requires frontal body work, how much? Would this be a huge thing? Or just a small adjustment?

Thanks in advance

Those aren't fog lights-they are turn signals. And no unless you hack your grill and relocate turn signals somewhere else up front. But where that wouldn't look like hell anyway? You have to have turn signals visible from the front of the car.

Would not be too hard, just takes time and measuring. I am planning on that as a future project. Remove grille, measure area, find a nice size, not too big but round and cut and install. To add needed turn signals there are many options including inserts in front bumper to adding yellow LED strips under headlights in openning between headlight and top of bumper. There are so many light shape variations available today from new to junkyards I am sure I will find something eventually. Back in 2004 I had cut my grille on my 05 V6 and added lights essencially creating a Pony addition 1 year before Ford did. I played around with several different looks until finally designing and adding the Cobra R front facial with billet grille and hidden lights behind it. The center photo was the final design.

I used two grills and cut and spliced the turn signals out.. I made mounts for the fog lights and mounted the turn signals below the bumbper. I used motorcycle turn signals from Chaparral Cycle (in town for me.)
