 What size are the bolts for the starter motor and small crossmember in a 1977 mustang
I'm brand new to these forums and about to become a mustang owner after far too many years of waiting. The problem is the mustang I'm looking to pick up is a 77 with a 302 that had a starter problem. The guy who owned the car took out the small crossmember and starter and left the car like that for the past two years. His mom has recently bought a new starter and is throwing it in with the car. I need to put it back in but I don't have the bolts which have been lost over the years. Also, since I have never down this before is there anywhere to go where I could see some pictures of both pieces correctly installed? Finally, I've read on other sites about needing spacer plates between the starter and bellhousing does anyone know where to get them or an appropriate substitute?
