Default Mustang II Engine Problems

i just got my 77 Mustang Cobra II's carb tuned up and the timing checked. after i got it back it seemed to run fine for a day or two. then after that i had a hard time getting the car to start and when it did start it would run really rough. after a few minutes it would run really nice. and after about 20 minutes or so it tries to die on me. it gets so bad that i can only make it about 2-3 blocks before it dies again and i have to spend 5 minutes or so getting it started again. i thought it might be vapor lock but i quickly shot that down. so the only thing i can say is that the shop didnt tune it right...but it ran just fine when i got it back for a few days.....i dont know..im lost. if you have any ideas please help.

I would go with the bad gas or at least a clogged filter. Experience has taught me that any 25+ year old car that has sat for extended periods of time will have a build up of gunk in the fuel tank, which should be dropped and cleaned out. If you have any rust at all it will continually make it to the filter and carb.
